There is so much good work that is going on from basement and bedroom offices across our nation!
With our partner, and prime contractor, Waller Hall Research in Greybull, Wyoming, CamBright Research is assisting the Wyoming Department of Health (see page here) to conduct COVID contact tracing.
COVID cases in Wyoming, like many other parts of the West, have spiked (see linked graph). The demand to reach people and advise them about isolation and quarantine has sky-rocketed. Public health departments across the nation are overwhelmed by the increase in COVID cases. In October 2020, CamBright’s Stand-By-You contact tracing program began helping Wyoming handle the overflow of COVID cases. Working from the safety of their homes, our team of 40+ Johns Hopkins-trained callers reach out to newly identified cases–7 days a week, 12 hours a day–and deliver WDH’s isolation orders and resource materials.
Holidays are a tough time for people. After months sequestered in our homes, many of us long to spend some time with our families and friends. Our colleagues Drs. Joshua Weitz and Clio Andris at the Georgia Institute of Technology put together a handy interactive app to estimate your risk of being in the company of someone who is infected. Your risk is based on your location and how many people will be around your next holiday ( Covid 19 Event Risk Assessment Planning Tool.) Our dear colleague Dr. Pia MacDonald at RTI International passed on a great article about COVID testing. It is worth checking out if you plan to make testing part of your personal protection plan over the holidays. We also invite you to contact us here at CamBright Research and explore how we can help your community handle your overflow of contact tracing calls through our Stand-By-You Contact Tracing Program.
